I linked from JAN to your blog and Lo and Behold you are from Durbs, ek sê :) Used to be my 'hunting grounds' in the '70's. (I'm quite old)You make nice jewellery. That cuff bangle.. is it not possible to size down? i.e cut it and bash it oval on an oval bangle triblet with a ball punch... Anyway, great to meet a SA jewellery blogger.. Cheers Hans
Thanks Hans your comments have made my day as I said on JAN I am a fan of your work. I am new to jewellery making and have a long way to go still. But I am really enjoying the learning process. Yes I am from Durban - its not easy living here (I am sure it has changed a lot since the seventies)but I love it.
Apart from when I was a teenager I have always made things in one form or another. In the last few years I have discovered making jewellery and I believe that I have found what is right for me. I love making jewellery. I love to experiment whether it is out of precious metal and stones or a piece of recycled copper pipe and resin. I see my blog as a window into my world - my passion.
